For our Primates in Pearls collection, we’ve partnered with WAPCA and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the conservation of the playful (and critically endangered) Roloway monkey.

In Primates in Pearls, playful Roloway monkeys swing from ropes and pearls in a lush gold jungle. Adorned in pearls frolicking in a rich jungle of gold tones, these primates take “monkeying around” to a whole new level. The iconic black triangular coloring on their face paired with their beautifully sleek silhouette makes them a beautifully unique species and a great inspiration for our collection!

A design with a purpose.

Roloway monkeys are playful, charismatic primates native to the forests of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. With their long tails, remarkable balance, and distinctive black triangular faces, they are graceful climbers with an unmistakably elegant presence.

Today, the Roloway monkey is Critically Endangered, largely due to habitat loss and hunting. Once more widespread across West Africa, these extraordinary primates are now among the world’s most threatened monkeys.

Through the art of textile design, Primates in Pearls celebrates the beauty and character of the Roloway monkey while bringing attention to the species and the forests it calls home.
